About Me
As a non-traditional public relations student, I bring a unique perspective to the field, combining diverse experiences and skills from my social work background. My previous experience allows me to better understand and connect with audiences on a personal level.
My curiosity of PR began after I found myself flourishing within my volunteer role as a Tyler Junior College ambassador. I enjoyed making different connections through storytelling and personal anecdotes and sharing a genuine sense of our campus culture and community. As I explored the career center I was immediately drawn by the public relations path.
With a strong foundation in communication, writing, and storytelling, I am passionate about creating strategic plans to help brands connect authentically with their audiences.
Outside of my professional life, you can find me exploring the great outdoors, hiding in a stack of books, or goofing around with my friends. I am a cat mom to my fur babies Ramey, and Momo; you can most likely find us cuddling on rainy days.
I am a curious individual that is eager to meet new professionals and share ideas. I look forward to connecting with you!
